For this project we were tasked with designing a solution to help an impaired client live an even more capable life. Our client for this project was a diabetic who lost his eyesight over that last couple of years.

To help visually impaired individuals we brainstormed ideas and came up with WIFOM (What’s In Front Of Me?) a creative solution to visual impairment.

The Benefits of WIFOM

• Affordable - At around $40 per pair of glasses
• Object Detection - Current market “solutions” do not convey what an object is, but rather the presence of an object. Ours Does!
• Long Distance Vision - No more having to walk up to an object to detect what it is
• Inconspicuous - Blend in anywhere
• Active Hazard Detection - Increases safety of user by warning them of any fast approaching hazards such as vehicles and knives
